Being an ex-goalie myself, couldn't agree more on the goalie situation and more precisely, that Alex Auld is a good fit. Enough with the goalie controversies and let's try to have a healty one as the Price/Halak situation was getting completely out of hand.
For the Gomez/11 situation, i'm on the side of the people who feel 1 year was more then enough. Koivu is gone and i feel it's time for everyone to move on, yet i know a lot of people disagree with me on this one.
Finally, the K brothers. It's really too bad that it came down to this but i feel that with Sergei, it was at a point of no return, complete dead end, he wanted out, the Habs wanted him out, and i think everyone was happy with the outcome, although Sergei to this day is unsigned. As for Boyd, he might not turn out to be a "great" addition, but definately will get more ice time then Sergei did and should have a better chance of contributing. As for Andrei, rumours are that Gauthier is shopping him, whether he's able to pull a move off to free up some cap space is possible but i doubt it.
That's my take on it, great show again guys!
Thanks!
Stevo
