Updated MFL 2 : Battleground lineup
The Mixed Fight League wants to inform you about the most recent changes and additions that were made to the MFL 2 : Battleground’s lineup, which will take place on February 27th 2010 at the Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard (located at 1000, ave. Emile-Journault in Montreal, Quebec).
Unfortunately, Derek Gauthier had to withdraw from his fight against Jesse Ronson due to an injury he suffered from his training.
However, a middleweight bout opposing Daylin Logan (2-0-0) and Eon Shirley (0-3-0) has been added to the already impressive lineup. The undefeated Logan, who’s back after a year absence, fought for the last time at XMMA 7, when he got the win over Dominique Poissant. He also defeated Steve Alexopoulos by TKO earlier in career. On the other side, Shirley will try to put an end on his three consecutive losses streak.
Also, fighting out of Drummondville’s Team Bergeron, former kickboxing champion, Yves “The Shark” Lemelin (3-3-0) continues his activities, as he’ll be fighting for the second time in 2010 after two years off on the MMA professional scene. His opponent will be announced shortly.
Please note that a press conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday February 17th 2010 - 3:30pm - at the Boulevard Lounge located at 10215 Boul. St-Laurent in Montreal. It would be a pleasure for the Mixed Fight League to welcome media and fans and answer all their questions about mixed martial arts, the MFL : Battleground event and the Mixed Fight League’s future plans. Also, it will be the perfect occasion to meet your favourite athletes and get their first impressions about the upcoming event and their respective scheduled bouts.
The official weigh-ins will take place at Boulevard Lounge, on February 26th. The exact time has yet to be confirmed.
