Truly a battle for the fans took place in the main event between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann. Fans were very upset by Diego Sanchez winning by unanimous decision (29-28x3), however I gave him rounds 2 and 3. In my opinion, Kampmann overestimated how he thought he found in round 2, and decided to fall into Sanchez' gameplan.
Mark Munoz won a controversial quick victory at 0:54 of Round 1 by TKO over CB Dollaway. Looked like a good stoppage to me, don't agree with the fans who need to see a fighter beaten unconscious before agreeing that he lost the fight.
Chris Weidman def. Alessio Sakara through a standard gameplan of takedowns and ground and pound to earn an impressive unanimous decision victory (30-27x3), especially since he took the fight on 2 weeks notice.
Brian Bowles withstood a strong agressive start from Damacio Page, and followed up an uppercut which sent Page to the canvass with a guillotine choke at 3:30 of Round 1 to put page to sleep.
