TUF Season 10 Quick Hits
Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show consists of 16 Heavyweights, none of whom had to fight their way into the house.
Coaches for this season are Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and "Sugar" Rashad Evans.
Rampage Jackson goes for hype over skill and takes Kevin Ferguson "KIMBO SLICE" as his first selection.
Rashad Evans did win the coin toss, and chose to select the first fighter, which means Rampage would get to choose the first TWO match ups.
Big Country Roy Nelson expected to be the favorite, but was selected around the middle of the pack.
Team Evans gets the first win of the series, as Jon Madsen (1-0) defeats Abe Wagner (6-1) by grounding and pounding out a decision.
Abe Wagner had probably the nastiest cut in TUF series history.
While Rampage Jackson may be one of the most entertaining coaches that TUF has ever had, he also may go down as one of the worst. There is a different between commenting on the fight from the sidelines, or telling your fighter to "get up", and actually talking them through what they need to do. All he has to do is listen to what Greg Jackson is yelling on the other side!
