The Montreal Juniors win their third game in three days

The Juniors beat the last place Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 7-1 this afternoon at Verdun. Viktor Hertzberg scored the first goal of the game thanks to a pass from Louis Leblanc and Francis Meilleur on the powerplay. Later on in the period  Francis Meilleur scored assisted by Michael Clark to make it 2-0. Rouyn-Noranda's forward Jeremi Janneteau goal brought the Juniors lead to one. Less than a minute later David Rose scored to take back their two goal lead.

In the second period Louis Leblanc scored on the powerplay assisted by David Rose and Xavier Ouellet.

Nick Chouinard scored twice in the third period to make it 6-1. David Rose scored his second goal of the game to make the final score 7-1.

The Juniors are currently sitting in second place 7 points ahead of Quebec and 7 points behind the St John Seadogs.

Louis Leblanc is definately out of his scoring slump. In the past 3 games he has recorded 3 goals and 3 assists!
