Sylvia Vs Sims to take place in Halifax
Well after a number of moves, it looks like the match between Tim Sylvia and Wes Sims has found a home and it will be Halifax. International Fighting Confederation's: Perfect Storm will take place June 4th at the Halifax Metro Centre. The move has been approved by Nova Scotia Boxing Authority head Mickey MacDonald.
The fight between Tim Sylvia, the former UFC Heavyweight champion and Wes Sims, a former UFC veteran was supposed to take place in Saint John, New Brunswick but the promoters had trouble because there is no government association to sanction the event. The match will be for the Super Heavyweight title. There will also be a middleweight and lightweight title shot on the card. Also on the card will be former UFC title contender Jeremy Horn as he will face Ultimate Fighter 7 contestant Dante Rivera. No other fights have been announced for the card as of this time.
