Strikeforce: Diaz vs Cyborg Quick Results
Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg Main Card (On Showtime):
-Nick Diaz def. Evangelista “Cyborg” by arm bar submission at 4:50 of R2
- Cyborg had a great 1st half of the round, but I think Diaz did more than enough to come back and win the round in the judges eyes. Fantastic 1st round. Diaz R1
- Cyborg was absolutely winning the 2nd round, and had it cemented with the takedown, but Diaz which a tremendous arm bar in the dying seconds of the 2nd round just pulled out the win out of nowhere.
-Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza def. Robbie Lawler by tap out due to rear naked choke submission at 2:00 of R3
- 1st half all Souza, but Lawler took the 2nd half of the round, and caught Souza and almost got the TKO win which was the difference. Lawlor Round 1
- Finishing the 2nd round on top is what may have saved Lawlor from a 10-8 round by some of the judges. Jacare just dominated using his strength. Jacare Round 2
- Round 3 is all Jacare, and he gets the victory. I underestimated Jacare's strength and striking against Lawlor, and bought too much into Lawlor's wrestling and submission training.
-Herschel Walker def. Scott Carson by TKO due to strikes at 3:13 of R1
-Roger Gracie def. Trevor Prangley by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:19, R1
