Oct 07 Sherdog Claims The Tiger Will Be Tamed

Talk about not even giving a guy a chance! Tomas Rios from Sherdog seems to believe Yves "Tiger" Jabouin's only chance against Raphael Assuncao Saturday night at WEC 43, would be if Assuncao decides to be dumb enough to trade punches with the striking expert. The same was said when Thierry Quenneville took on grappling sensation Hatsu Hioki at the last TKO event, where many people believed that Quenneville had no chance either. Yet it was Quenneville that caught Hioki twice and almost ended up taking the championship from Hioki had Thierry not tried to end the fight on the ground. Jabouin has had an extra month to train at one of best Canadian MMA gyms in TRISTAR, after WEC 43 was postponed from it's original date in September.

Many did not see Jabouin's stunning performance against JT Wells at XMMA 6 in November. It's been almost a year since the Tiger has been let loose, and Jabouin knows it's an opportunity of a lifetime. One thing is for sure, don't count him out!
