Ringside Triple Threat Main Event Change
Guillaume de Lorenzi will be bowing out of Ringside 5 - Triple Threat reportedly due to a knee injury suffered during training camp. De Lorenzi was originally scheduled to face Tim Radcliffe, who was in Vegas for training, but Radcliffe had to pull out due to injury last week. Matchmaker Alex Caporicci was actively looking for a suitable replacement, and thought he had one in Joe Cronin, veteran MMA fighter of 25 fights, however, it was not to be. De Lorenzi was recently signed by Ringside to a 3 fight deal. De Lorenzi did suffer a knee in his last fight for XMMA, when he also suffered his first loss against War Machine. Guillaume came back after a 6 month lay off and battled his way to his first decision victory against Lindsey Hawkes, a great young fighter from Winnipeg. De Lorenzi's last fight was on October 17th against Sébastien Garguier which he won in the 2nd round. De Lorenzi's record currently stands at 7-1.
Replacing Guillaume de Lorenzi will be Guillaume "showman" Lamarche. Lamarche is coming off a win against Tim Tamaki. Lamarche should also be motivated by the fact that the last person to beat him (Will Romero), was recently signed by Bellator.
