POLL: Over-Hyping Drama around PK's Celebration?
Montreal Canadiens almost let themselves become the victims of an incredible comeback by the Flames Monday night, as they allowed Calgary to score 4 unanswered goals to tie the game. ButPK Subban became the hero for once, instead of the zero when it comes to a goal being score in the OT period, and celebrated rather emotionally after he helped give his team the extra point. Apparently, people were none too happy about the post goal theatrics by PK Subban. Who? I don't really know. But it's got people up in arms I tell ya, including 2 regular contributors to The Franchise, Kamal Panesar of HabsAddict.com and Kyle Roussel of CowhideandRubber.com.
Here is a snippet of Kamal's take:
P.K. Subban has been the talk of the city of Montreal this season for many different reasons.
Often, the discussions about Subban have less to do with his tremendous skills on the ice and more to do with his less hockey-skill related qualities. Namely, his supposed big mouth on the ice, his cocky attitude, his apparent lack of respect towards veteran players and for his ability to rub the opposition the wrong way.
This all started early in the season after a Montreal shutout victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on November 16, 2010.

And here is a snippet of Kyle Roussel's take:
I told myself that I wasn’t going to blog about the P.K. Subban goal celebration “controvery”, but it seems as though people aren’t letting it go, so now I have to open my mouth.
Can somebody please explain to me why P.K. Subban’s maligned goal celebration is
SO. NOT. OKAY?
While this celebration by Theo Fleury is not only endearing to hockey fans, but is used as part (however briefly) of CBC’s intro to Hockey Night in Canada?
