It could be the worst kept secret in Quebec right now, with a press conference only scheduled on February 1st to announce the news that former UFC fighter Patrick "The Predator" Cote has signed with Ringside MMA. RDS recently reported that the Quebec native, a veteran of 11 UFC fights will make his debut for Ringside against another former UFC fighter Kalib Starnes. Cote will make his debut for Ringside MMA as they make their move to the Bell Center for April 9th, on a card which will also see current welterweight champion Chris Clements defend his title against Alex "The Animal" Garcia. There had been widespread reports that Patrick Cote had signed with Ringside MMA in mid-December, but those reports were denied by Cote's camp. Patrick Cote has never lost outside of the UFC, which notable wins over Steve Vigneault to win the TKO LHW title, Bill Mahood to win the KOTC LHW title and Jason MacDonald to win the MFC Middleweight belt. Cote's holds wins in the UFC over Scott Smith, Jason Day, Kendall Grove, Drew McFedries and Ricardlo Almeida. In 2008, he was also the 1st fighter in 4 years to bring Anderson Silva into the 3rd round.

RDS also reported that Steve "The Boss" Bosse will also be on the card, as he will take on Roger "Hulk" Hollett. No word yet on if either matches will be for a title, but you'd have to think that an organization looking to make a major splash and help draw fight fans to the Bell Center, could want to add a little more gold to the fight card.
