Sep 28 MMA Fighter charged with sexual assault in Halifax

The Franchise has learned from the Halifax newspaper, The Chronicle Herald that ECC 10  main event fighter and BC native Chris Peak has been charged with sexual ass ult along with James Christopher Hanson. Peak was in town when he lost to local favorite Roger Hollett Saturday night. The two were scene at Bubbles Mani son for the after party when they were talking to two girls at the local nightclub and were scene later at the Toothy Moose.

RCMP officer Brain Palmenter said the four went back to the Hampton Suites Inn in Dartmouth and one of the girls wanted to leave. All allegedly, the other women left to get help from the hotel desk clerk when things got ugly. The other girl was reported if being sexually assaulted  when the other girl left the room. The women who was  assaulted prevented the second girl from leaving the room.  The victim is also being charged with bodily harm and will appear in provincial court November 19th.  Peak and Hanson are being held for a bail hearing which will take place this Wednesday in Halifax provincial court.  The two are being held at the Dartmouth Correctional Facility till then
