MFL - The Beginning Quick Results
Okay, so maybe there were no ring girls, or energy drinks, or food outside of the vending machines, but it was a night of loud fans and great fights! As we have come to expect from MMA in Quebec, all the fighters came to fight, and everyone delivered to the best of their abilty.

Derek Gauthier vs Mike Medrano
Round 1
Gauthier comes out with powerfull leg kicks.
Medrano catches a kick and takes Gauthier down.
Gauthier works very well and pulls guard.
The fight gets back on the feet were both men exchange very hard strikes.
Round 2
Gauthier lands huge combinations that back Medrano up against the cage.
Medrano has a great chin and does not even flinch.
Gauthier ends up in his opponent’s half guard and lands a few shots.
Medrano goes for a knee bar, Gauthier escapes with ease.
Gauthier proceeds to ground and pound as the round ends.
Round 3
Gauthier comes out agressive and catches his rival with a head kick.
Medrano takes his opponent down with a nice double leg. Gauthier gets back up.
Gauthier sarts to unload vicious combinations and forces the referee to save Medrano.

Guillaume De Lorenzi vs Sébastien Garguier
Round 1
De lorenzi takes Garguier down twice.
Garguier attemps a guillotine from half guard.
De Lorenzi escapes and lands a few puches.
He then moves to side control and pounds away as the round ends.
Round 2
De Lorenzi comes out very agressive and displays great stand up.
He seems to hurt Garguier and takes him down.
De lorenzi lands huge puches and elbows.
After a long assault, referee Gery Bolen finaly decides to end the fight.
Horrible judgement by the official!

Thierry Quenneville vs Tim Tamaki
Round 1
Quenneville slides under Timaki’s puches and takes him down.
Quenneville works to get out of his opponent’s half guard.
Timaki sensing danger gives up his back.
Quenneville slips his arm under Timaki’s chin and forces him to tap.
