MFL 3 Announced for September 25, 2010
MFL (Mixed Fight League) is back for their 3rd MMA gala on September 25th, 2010. Three fights have already been announced, which have already started to get people talking. According to our friends at UltimeFanatic, UFC veteran Tom Murphy (6-0) will be back taking on former UFC and PRIDE fighter Gary Goodridge (23-22-1). Don't let the difference in the number of fights fool you, Murphy is undefeated in 6 pro MMA fights, while Goodridge has not won his last 6, not to mention that Murphy actively trains and spars with some of the best fighters in the world.
Also on the card is Ivan Menjivar, who is very much the Pride of Montreal despite being known as the Pride of El Salvador. Menjivar is coming off his first fight in 4 years, which saw him win early in the first round against Aaron Miller. Bendy Casimir (19-7-2)will have the honor of being Menjivar's 2nd opponent since 2006, while Menjivar will be Casimir's 20th in the same timeframe! Casimir is coming off 2 fights in the WEC, and a win against Casimir will surely be the stepping stone needed by Menjivar to get into the WEC.
Also announced is Ferrid "Hurricane" Fedder (17-5) , who will be facing UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti (17-8).
