Jordan Mein Next in Line for Mike Ricci on November 14th at Ringside Rivalries

Written by Gary "Rumble" Whittaker. Posted in Blogs - The Rumble

The Franchise has learned this weekend that Jordan Mein has been signed to fight Mike Ricci at Ringside 4: Rivalries in Drummondville, Quebec on November 14th. Mein is a young fighter (approx 21), but already has over 16 pro fights to his credit (11-5 according to Sherdog). Despite fighting out of Alberta, Mein is no stranger to Montreal, having already fought twice for TKO. He is a tall fighter, who has a well rounded combination of hard punches and a decent grappling. Jordan has only lost twice in his last 11 pro fights, and is coming off a loss at Xplosion 19 in Australia against a veteran Muay Thai fighter of 142 fights. This last fight was a "X Rules" competition, which has an usual format of being a modified KickBoxing rules in round 1, Muay Thai rules in Round 2, and a full MMA rules in round 3. Unfortunately for the Pro MMA Fighter Mein, he was stopped in Round 2.

He will be facing local Quebec product Mike Ricci, who is looking for his 5 victory to go along with his undefeated record. Ricci is also a well rounded fighter who trains out of the famous TriStar gym in Montreal under Firas Zahabi. Ricci had to pull out of his last fight due to an undisclosed injury at Ringside 3, and was replaced in that fight against Winnipeg's Lindsey Hawkes by Guillaume de Lorenzi. Ricci is as confident as they come, and he's got the skills to prove it. Look for them to be on full display the night of November 14th in Drummondville, Quebec.
