Jack Bateman from W1 on The Score and Coming To Montreal

Written by Gary "Rumble" Whittaker. Posted in Blogs - The Rumble

With MMA still not legal in Ontario, Warrior One President Jack Bateman is looking to push further into the boundaries of Quebec as he takes his W1 MMA promotion from Gatineau to Montreal. This event will be called BAD BLOOD, and he may have plenty of it! Several fighters from W1 have already found themselves fighting in Montreal for a rival promotion, and one of his champions was recently defeated as well in that same promotion. Could we see a rematch under his W1 brand? Will W1 be able to put together match ups between some of Quebec's top MMA gyms? One thing is for sure, fighters will get increased exposure after W1 announced a new television agreement with the Score network. More details on their first televised broadcast of a Warrior 1 event coming up this Friday.

From W1 President Jake Bateman:

W-1 Presents our next LIVE Event BAD BLOOD which will be held in Montreal Quebec on March 20th 2010. Please stay tuned to see which fighters have BAD BLOOD!
