Dec 31 Happy New Year Everyone and Thank You!

On behalf of Gary Whittaker and Nick Murdocco, The Franchise would like to wish everyone a very happy new year, and hopes that everyone had a great holiday season. It has been a great year for the Franchise, who celebrated our 3rd year anniversary which included our 1st year on THE TEAM 990, as well as the launch of our two bi-weekly Internet based web shows, The Weigh In and the Canadiens Coronary. Special word from Gary Whittaker

I developed my love for sports from hearing my grandmother tell me stories of watching Jackie Robinson play in Montreal, or her going to Miami to watch Shaq during his championship season despite being a lifelong Lakers fan. She not only loved sports, but loved the human side of it as well. Sports is more than just a game with statistics, it's about fun, and sharing time with family. I hope we can continue to bring some laughter into your homes as you share your time with your loved ones listening to us as well. Hope everyone has a happy, and safe New Year's and I look forward to what 2011 will bring our way.
