Mar 14 Fight Quest 11 Quick Results and Pictures

Once again, the fine people behind Fight Quest put together a great event, and once again, all the fighters came to prove themselves against some of the best amateurs across Quebec and Ontario. Hats off to promotor Stephane Vigneault and matchmaker Benoit Lelievre and everyone who continues to work so hard in making Fight Quest one of the best Amateur MMA brands in Canada. As usual, several big names in the MMA world were also in attendance, including Denis Kang. The card was headlined by Guillaume Vigneault and Dave Bedard who put on a spirited bout, as Bedard was looking to avenge his teammate Pascal Gosselin who was injured during his fight and subsequently lost to Vigneault at FQ 10. Aiemann Zahibi was able to compete in an official match up, due to his scheduled opponent having to pull out on Tuesday due to injury, and no suitable opponent was able to step up on short notice. I spoke to Aiemann after the event, and he was disappointed that he could get an official amateur fight after having trained so hard. Several fighters, I felt, really stood out, including Jason Courchesne and Ian Perron.
