Elite 1 MMA postpones New Years Revolution
Maritime MMA fans will have to wait a few weeks to get their MMA fix in. New Years Revolution is being moved from January 8th to January 30th. It's not all bad news, since according to promoter Steven Williams, "Anyone who paid for a $35 ticket already will be upgraded to a $75 seat free of charge". The reason behind the delay is due to "slow ticket sales...and a few fighters sick". Elite 1 Productions have changed their format since coming back from suspension. The cards are bigger, and now include amateur MMA and boxing! The Franchise loves the approach taken by the Williams family and hopes the Maritime MMA community will come in large numbers to the next event. Growing the talent, and the name recognition through the amateur portion of the card should pay off in the long run. It's also important that experienced fighters and training be brought in to provide tips and tricks for both the local trainers and fighters.
We are not clear if the name of the card will change, but we are sure the great quality of fights will not.
