Cox Helps Als Win Game, And Gets Top D Honors
Chip Cox was instrumental in helping the Alouettes defeat the Toronto Argonauts 27-8 in their last game, and has received the CFL Defensive Player of the Week (14) for his efforts. This is the 2nd time in Cox' career that he has earned this honor. While the Alouettes offence was stifled under the pressure of Toronto's pass rush, Chip Cox quickly turned the tables on the Argo's offence by returning a fumble he forced for a touchdown, which is also the 2nd time he has done so this season. Cox also recorded 9 tackles and 1 sack in the game.
