Chara Hit On Pacioretty - You Be The Judge
An eye for an eye, a push for a push? Perhaps for the "nice guy" that is Zdeno Chara, all is even now between himself and Max Pacioretty. Here is the intial incident between the two players, the first one a slight push, not even meeting the definition of a shove, after Pacioretty scores a goal in overtime to beat the Bruins for the 3rd time this season.
Can Bruins fans argue that in the split second prior to returning the push back, Chara did not properly comprehend the kind of damage he could potentially due to the Habs' young prospect? Was it even a push at all? Here is the video

I think it's obvious that the desperate Habs are, as usual, conspiring and continuing their dirty tactic of winning at all costs, even if they need to cheat. To assist their chances to make the playoffs, they decided to try and get Chara suspended, so Pacioretty intentionally dropped and twisted so he could hit the glass with his face instead of his shoulder. Good on him for taking one for the team, glad to hear he'll be OK, but sad state of the Canadiens for going so low as to use tactics like this.
