Alouettes school tours

Written by Jessica Rusnak. Posted in Blogs - The Rumble

Today the Alouettes kicked off their Adpot an Alouette program at Lester B Pearson High School in Montreal North.

The program consists of several Alouettes visiting schools to promote education and success to young students all while encouraging them to purse their studies and to make right choices in preparing them for their future.

The program runs from January to May visiting 80 schools throughout the province.

John Bowman, Anwar Stewart, Scott Flory, Danny Desriveaux, Josh Bourke and Martin Bedard were all on-hand today.

To participate in Adpot an Alouette program, the players must undergo a 20 hour training session with psychologists and an educator specialized in communication to help the players properly devliever their message to students and help the players understand issues the student face on a daily basis.
