2011 FA Frenzy - Habs Get Erik Cole
Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier addresses the need for size and a power forward in signing Erik Cole to a 4 year, 18 million dollar deal on FA Frenzy Friday. Erik Cole is a former 30 goal scorer, who was a Habs Killer during the playoff series on the notorious BBC line, who went on to win the Stanley Cup. Interesting note is that Cole wears number 26, which is currently owned by Josh Gorges who was given a qualifying over, but who has yet to officially sign with the Habs.
