Videotron LTD continues to refuse to offer its subscribers TSN 2, TSN's alternate feed. TSN 2 was launched in 2008, and while it's primary programming consists of TSN on a timeshift, they can offer up to 10% of live alternative programming, including 25 Toronto Raptors games, Boxing, MMA, racing, and other events.
Videotron will only consider adding TSN 2 to its lineup if there is enough demand for the channel. We would encourage all Videotron subscribers to email Videotron and demand that they add TSN 2
.Here is the official response I received:
Thank you for your interest in our digital service and for having taken the time to write us on this matter.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer all the available digital television channels.
Presently, Videotron has decided to not offer the TSN2 channel in its illico programming. According to the information that we have received about this channel, it will broadcast 800 hours of original programming (about 15 hours per week of new programming) and will offer repeat programmes of TSN with a three hour delay.
Because your opinion is important to us, we have sent it to our marketing department.
A television channel requested by many can eventually be added to the illico service.
