Gary Whittaker and Nick Murdocco are happy that we can finally announce that The Franchise will be moving to Montreal’s Sports Authority, The Team 990 as of September 12th, 2009! The Franchise will now be a weekend morning show airing on 990 AM every Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 9am! We are thrilled at the opportunity to expand our 2 hour weekly show into a full weekend edition!

The Franchise will be joined by the talented Amanda Stein, who has been working at the Team 990 in various capacities, as well as formerly with the Montreal Juniors of the QMJHL. She has been one of our favourite guests on The Franchise and we are looking forward to having her come on board. Podcasts of the show will be made available as always. They will include: the Weekend HABit, Franchise Weigh In, and our recaps of the Alouettes, Juniors and Impact. We will also have plenty of fun and surprises for our listeners, so make sure to tune in live from 6am to 9am every Saturday and Sunday and have your breakfast with The Franchise (and save some for us!).
