Wildcats-Juniors Game Cancelled

Written by Nick Murdocco. Posted in Blogs - Nick Murdocco

Today’s scheduled game between the Moncton Wildcats and the Montreal Juniors has been cancelled due to medical reasons.

According to the Wildcats website, a number of the Wildcats are on the injured list while others awoke this morning with fever, leaving the team with 11 skaters.

The team doctors for the Wildcats and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League discussed the situation. It was decided that in the best interest of both teams, game cancellation was the best alternative at this time.

Information on a rescheduled date and ticketing information will be released as soon as details become available.

You will recall that earlier this week, it was announced that Montreal Juniors starting goaltender Jake Allen and forward Louis-Marc Aubry did not join the team on the east coast trip because of illness as well.
