The 3rd place Montreal Impact will play its first playoff game in the United Soccer Leagues First Division quarterfinals tonight against the 6th place Seattle Sounders at the Starfire Complex, in Seattle at 10 pm.

The Impact has a lifetime record of 15-15-5 in the playoffs (43GF-36GA) and look to improve these stats with goalkeeper Matt Jordan who ended the season first in the league with a "goal allowed" average of 0.760. As seems to be the case for the very busy Impact this month, there is no rest for the weary as, regardless of tonight's outcome, they head right back home to Saputo Stadium in order to play the second and decisive game of the aggregate goal series on Sunday at 5 pm.
