USL - Montreal Impact Defender Gabriel Gervais Retires
Montreal Impact star defender Gabriel Gervais announced Tuesday he was retiring from professional soccer, after a nine-year career in the United Soccer Leagues First Division (USL), including seven years with the Impact.
The Montreal mainstay on defense had quite a full career playing for the Rochester Rhinos, the Impact as well as representing Canada during his 9 years on the pitch.
The Impact have announced that Gervais, a leader on and off the field, will still, however, play a role within the organization
