
QMJHL- Montreal Juniors' Winning Streak Ends at 4 After 5-3 Loss to Gatineau Olympiques
Prior to the Christmas break, the Montreal Juniors, fresh off their fourth consecutive visctory, a team best, headed into Gatineau trying to make it 5. Gatineau would have the last word as they handed the Juniors a 5-3 loss in Gatineau on Friday night.
The Juniors will have the week off until December 27th where they will find themselves in Shawinigan to face the Cataractes.

Montreal. Friday, December 19, 2008. The Montreal Juniors lost their final game before the holiday break on Friday night to the Gatineau Olympiques.
The Olympiques were led by Alex Quesnel and JP Chabot. Quesnel scored a hat-trick and added an assist while Chabot scored 2 goals including the game winner in the 3rd. The Juniors had the game tied at 2 late in the 2nd period, but a late goal from Quesnel gave the Olympiques the momentum heading into the 3rd period. Luke Adam, Nick Layton and Matthew Brenton scored for the Juniors while Jake Allen allowed 5 goals on 32 shots.
Montreal enters the Christmas break with a record of 19-15-1(39 Pts). They have the week off before returning to action on December 27th against Shawinigan.
