QMJHL - Montreal Juniors Fall to Drummondville Voltigeurs 4-1
Despite having seven chances on the power-play, only Luke Adam could find the back of the net against Drummondville on this evening. The Montreal Juniors, allowing 47 shots fired towards Jake Allen, faced a tough test falling to the Drummondville Voltigeurs by a score of 4-1.
Goalie Jake Allen kept the score as close as possible in the first period, when he stopped 17 of 19 shots, with Yannick Riendeau and Chris DiDominico each tallying for Drummondville. The Voltigeurs added another goal by Benoît Lévesque in the second period, forcing the Juniors into a 3-0 deficit entering the third.
Only Luke Adam managed to get the Juniors on the board with his 21st of the season, in the third period. Despite the Juniors effort, Drummondville's Mike Hoffman made no mistake on a shorthanded attempt to bring the score to 4-1, ultimately ending the Juniors night.
The Juniors current road trip has now seen two losses and a win, bringing the teams record to 24-19-1-1. They will head to Lewiston for the first time this season on Saturday night to continue their road trip, followed by stops in Val-D'Or, Abitibi and Quebec City before returning home on February 2nd.
