For the second consecutive month in the 2009-10 season, Carey Price was named the Molson Cup Player of the Month for November.
In a city where the favourite mantra is “what have you done for me lately”, many fans questioned October’s announcement, for at the time, Price was not the “hotter” of the two goaltenders. It could have been argued, however, that if Price had not been anything but spectacular in the team’s first two victories, wins would have been far and few between.
I’ll assume that with this month’s announcement and Price being the solid lock as the number one, that the accolades will be much more enthusiastic tonight as the presentation will be made prior to tonight’s puck drop against the Leafs.
