Price Drop for the Habs

Carey Price, the franchise goaltender of the Montreal Canadians, the kid that doesn't get rattled, is instead getting shelled playing for the farm team Hamilton Bulldogs. Price has let in 12 goals in his last 2 games on 44 shots. While he started out just fine winning his first 2 game, Price now has a 2-2 record, has a 4.53 goals against average, and a terrible .838 save percentage.
While I like what Habs have done in their handling of price (for the most part), I have not been sold on the discussion surrounding the kid of the future, being given a chance in the present. Yes, he has solid positioning, but he was making saves just by being there, and not showing much star ability that you want to see for a team that can allow 40+ shots against on a regular night. I was simply not sold on him, and as it turns out, I was right. After getting a baptism by fire from playing the top teams right off the bat, and proving that he deserved a chance to play for the big club, Price's performance now is not even good enough to stay with the farm team.
At this point, Bob Gainey needs to intervene directly and get something done for this guy. Bring in Tim Robbins, bring in another full time Goalie coach, get him some high class hookers, it really doesn't matter. If Price doesn't pan out, it should not be for lack of effort by everyone involved in the organization.
