Preview of Stanley Cup?
Yeah, it's a little premature, but this is Montreal, and we are that kinda biased. Canadiens coach Guy Carbonneau get lots of ice time to his young guns, and one stood head and shoulders above the rest. Max Pacioretty earned the praise all night from TSN's Pierre McGuire and from the Habs faithful at the Bell Center. He scored the only goal for the Canadiens in regulation time, and added another in a high pressure situation of being the first up in the shoot out after Detroit scored first. With the Habs winning the game 2-1against the Stanley Cup Champions so close to the start of the season, this will surely add to the fervor on their chances of going all the way.
