Montreal, August 27, 2008 – Generations Foundation and the Montreal Juniors held a press conference today at 4210 Notre-Dame Street West, Montreal. The Montreal Juniors were proud to announce a new partnership with Generations Foundation, a non-profit organization dealing with children who suffer from hunger, neglect and social problems. As special guests, the Montreal Juniors hosted Maxime Talbot of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Bruno Gervais of the New York Islanders, Martin Lapointe of the Ottawa Senators, and Marc-Édouard Vlasic of the San Jose Sharks, who contributed funds to provide tickets for junior hockey games to thousands of needy children through Generations Foundation.

“We are extremely proud of this new association. Many children will attend every game. They will surely enjoy the show our team will put on. Montreal Juniors also want to thank the NHL players who take part in this program”, commented Montreal Juniors president, Martin Routhier. “The Foundation is so proud to see all these great players team up for a great cause. Our program is important and the children we help are some of the greatest hockey fans! Thanks to the Montreal Juniors, thanks to the players”, added Adrian Bercovici, Generations Foundation executive director. Many other NHL players are also taking part in this donation, such as Marc-André Fleury of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
