Mar 22 Montreal Juniors Release 2011 Round 1 Playoff Schedule Vs Halifax Mooseheads

The Montreal Juniors have released the schedule for their first round matchup in the 2011 QMJHL playoff schedule.

Their opponents in round 1 will be the Halifax Mooseheads as the seeding has changed this season so that 1^st place plays 16^th, 2^nd plays 15^th, etc. in previous season, teams had to fight out of their own divisions before  referring to a seeding system.

Montreal has swept the regular season series 3-0 and many are favoring them to get past Halifax in 5 games.

Instead of the familiar “2 at home, 2 away and 3 back and forths” format, the Juniors will host for the first 2 games and the next 3 (if necessary) will be played in Halifax as the distance to travel is just not feasible for the regular format.

The Montreal Juniors are pleased to announce their complete first round schedule. The games will take place on the following dates:

-          Game 1: Thursday, March 24^th at 7:05pm, in Montreal

-          Game 2: Friday, March 25^th at 7:05pm, in Montreal

-          Game 3: Tuesday, March 29^th at 7:00pm Atlantic time/6:00pm Eastern time, in Halifax

-          Game 4: Wednesday, March 30^th at 7:00pm Atlantic time/6:00pm Eastern time, in Halifax

-          Game 5: Friday, April 1^st at 7:00pm Atlantic time/6:00pm Eastern time, in Halifax***

-          Game 6: Sunday, April 3^rd at 3:05pm, in Montreal***

-          Game 7: Tuesday, April 5^th at 7:05pm, in Montreal***
