The Montreal Juniors went head to head against the Best team in the QMJHL during a home and away duo of games this past week.

The Juniors proved once again that they would not be intimidated by league rankings or team records as they fought through game 1 in Drummondville where they were actually in the lead 1-0 after the 2nd period, but the third period erupted with eight goals and Drummondville getting the upper hand, taking it 5-4 when it was all said and done.

Coming back home to Montreal, the Juniors had a sure fire way to dispose of the Voltigeurs and ensuring the win: they shut them out 4-0. A great start to 2009.

Montreal is now at 21-17-1-0 which is good enough for middle of the pack in the "Q"'s overall standings at 9th place and just 2 points out of 1st in the Telus West division, behind the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
