It didn't take the Juniors long to bounce back from their recent 4-0 shut-out loss against Rimouski when they headed to Halifax to play the Mooseheads in the first of 3 games in as many days this weekend.

Pier-Antoine Dion scored his 5th and 6th of the season including the team's only power-play goal on his way to earning the game's first star and getting the Juniors another win in the process.

Dion got the only goal of the 1st period, a power-play goal with helpers going to Guillaume Asselin and Louis-Marc Aubry. Taylor MacDougal potted the 2nd period's only goal despite the Juniors taking 4 penalties during that time-frame, Jake Allen was called upon to stop 15 shots in the 2nd period alone.

To Montreal's credit, they stonewalled Halifax throughout the 5 chances they allowed them while shorthanded and managed to go 1-3 when they were a man up.

It only took Dion 2:02  of the third to put the game away, and although Halifax tried to make a game of it with their lone goal by Eric Louis-Seize a few moments later, Montreal would put the icing on the cake when Samuel Grenache potted his fourth of the season and the Juniors' 4th of the night.

The Juniors will continue on their journey across the Maritimes as early as tomorrow where they will find themselves in St John to take on the Sea Dogs.
