Montreal Impact Wins in Italy 1-0 Vs AC Pistoiese
As their pre-season stint in Italy continues, the Montreal Impact registered a first win Thursday, with a 1-0 shutout against Italian third division club Pistoiese (Serie C1), at Stadio Comunale Marcello Melani, in Pistoia.
In the official press release you can read how the Impact's Mauro Biello compared this team to Pisa as well as their future rivals in the CONCACAF quarterfinals, Club Santos Laguna.
Not all news was great, as defender Stefano Pesoli had to head back to Montreal, where he will undergo knee surgery.
