The Montreal Impact (12-11-5; 41 points) play their second to last game of the regular season against the Minnesota Thunder (9-11-9; 36 points) Saturday night at the National Sports Center, in Blaine,  Minneapolis (8:05 pm,USLlive.com).

The Impact is currently third in the USL First Division standings with 41 points and could clinch that very spot with a win. While mid-fielders Rocco Placentino and Mauro Biello are back in action, defender Gabriel Gervais, who had recovered from a thigh injury, will be out of the lineup for an undetermined  period of time due to a blood clot behind one knee. Goalkeeper Andrew Weber is slated to play his fifth game of the season. Weber is 2-2 this year with one shut-out to his credit. Surely in an effort to conserve energy for the upcoming CONCACAF games as well as the impending USL play-offs, only a total of 15 players have made the trip to Minnesota as they swing right back to Montreal in time to meet Puerto Rico at Saputo Stadium the very next Sunday to end their regular season.
