Montreal Impact extend Unbeaten Streak in Pre-Season Italian Competition Defeating Fiesole Caldine 4-0
The Montreal Impact are continuing their tear of the competition in Italy with a 4-0 shutout over Fiesole Caldine (Division Eccellenza). Their record thus far is 2 wins and 2 ties in 4 games. While coach Limniatis concedes that this team is not at as high a level of competition as with previous clubs they have met, it allowed the team to concentrate on the minor details and fine tuning.
The Impact will play their fifth and last preseason game in this Italian jaunt on Thursday, against
fourth division club Prato AC (Serie C2), at 3 pm (9 am, Eastern Time). They then head back home in order to complete their preparation for the CONCACAF quarterfinal game on February 25th against Club Santos Laguna.
