Mathieu Schneider Back With the Montreal Canadiens.
Although this move was no surprise to the Franchise, as yours truly called for Schneider specifically at season's start in order to help quarterback the powerplay and bolster the 4th spot on defense, it has been learned that Mathieu Schneider has been traded to Montreal in return for aa future draft pick.
As this info is very new, future details will follow. What we do know is the Schneider, 39, had 4 goals and 11 assists in 44 games with Atlanta so far this year on a struggling Atlanta Thrashers team. Add Schneider, however, to the long list of players whose contract expires at the end of this season.
