Keeping the Streak Alive
The Montreal Impact just keep on rolling, with a big 3 to 1 win against a Honduras team that is ranked 43rd in the world. The Impact are giving Montreal's plenty to be excited about this year, as they are sure to keep sports high on the radar for Montrealers throughout the summer. The Impact plan on keeping things very interesting this summer as well. According to a recent press release, "Montreal Impact President Joey Saputo, as well as Vancouver Whitecaps President Bob Lenarduzzi, Executive Vice President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. Tom Anselmi, and the Canadian Soccer Association, will give more details on the Canadian qualification for the CONCACAF Champions League." We had mentioned that in an earlier article as well, that Montreal will be part of a 3 team Canadian tournament to show who has the best Canadian soccor club. More details will be released later this week.
