Sep 03 Juniors Present Tentative 2009-10 Roster

The Montreal Juniors have announced their tentative roster for the last few Pre-Season Games for 2009-10.

The Juniors have only two more pre-season matches, against Val-D’Or this Thursday and Baie Comeau on Friday before they begin their sophomore season in Shawinigan on the 11th.  The team is expected to confirm the official 2009-2010 Roster later this month.

Head Coach and General Manager Pascal Vincent will be assisted by Dominique Ducharme, Alain Grenier and Joël Bouchard.

As the roster now stands, only two players are presently considered property of NHL teams. Veteran goaltenders Jake Allen (St Louis) and Jean-François Bérubé (LA) will be getting extra looks from their prospective future teams, prompting one to ask if a trade is not on the horizon for one of the two, as neither NHL team would want a prospect sitting for far too long a stretch, as is usually the case in a two goalie system.
