In the QMJHL’s only game, the Montreal Juniors played host to the Rimouski Oceanic, with the home team winning by a score of 4 to 2.

The Oceanic jumped out to an early lead, with Jarrad Struthers scoring his 24th goal of the season. However, the Juniors replied with three unanswered goals, first with Trevor Parkes scoring his 32nd of the year, then with Viktor Hertzberg notching both his 23rd and 24th of the season.

The two teams would trade goals in the third period, with Alex Émond scoring his 20th of the season for Rimouski while Louis-Marc Aubry did the same for the Juniors with his 13th of the season.

Between the pipes, Rimouski’s Morgan Clark turned away 16 of the 20 shots fired his way, while at the other end, Montreal’s Jean-François Bérubé stopped 22 of 24 shots. Viktor Hertzberg (MTL), Trevor Parkes (MTL) and Alex Émond (RIM) were respectively named first, second and third star of the game.

The Montreal Juniors will play again at home next week, as the 2011 QMJHL playoffs will begin.
