
Juniors Announce More Cuts
The Montreal Juniors announced yesterday their second selection after the first pre-season game. Friday night, the Juniors lost 5-2 against the Shawinigan Cataractes at Colisée Jean-Béliveau in Longueuil.
Forwards Anthony Courcelles (Laval), Pavel Konnov (Montréal), Sébastien Fortin (Verdun) and Philippe Prucha (Montréal-Nord) were released by the team. The official team will be presented in the next few days.
The Juniors will now play in Shawinigan on Sunday, August 23rd, before going to Bob Birnie Arena in Pointe-Claire to meet the Gatineau Olympics on August 28th.
