
Jumiors Blank Mooseheads in Halifax, Take 3-0 Series Lead
The Montreal Juniors scored 2 goals in 43 seconds in the dying moments of the 3rd period and skate to a 2-0 win in Halifax. Montreal now has a 3-0 series lead over the Mooseheads with game 4 and 5 (if necessary) to be played in Halifax.

The Montreal Juniors took a commanding three to nothing lead in their best-of-season series by beating the Mooseheads in Halifax by a score of 2-0.
Montreal forward Trevor Parkes broke a scoreless tie when he found the back of the net with 1:08 left in the third period, his first goal of the playoffs. Teammate Raphaël Pouliot scored his second of the playoffs just 43 seconds later, securing the win for the visiting team.
Goaltender Frédéric Piché of the Mooseheads stopped 31 of Montreal’s 33 shots, while at the other end, Jean-François Bérubé picked up his second shutout in as many games by turning away all 29 Halifax shots. Trevor Parkes (MTL), Jean-François Bérubé (MTL) and Frédéric Piché (HAL) were respectively named first, second and third stars of the game.
Game four will take place tomorrow night in Halifax, with puck drop at 7:00pm Atlantic / 6:00pm Eastern.
