Montreal, December 2nd, 2009 – Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) announced today the names of the 36 junior players (born in 1990 or afterwards) invited to the selection camp for the Canada’s National Junior Team. This camp, in preparation of the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship, will take place from the 12 to December 16, 2009 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Among the selected players, one finds Montreal Juniors goalie, Jake Allen. In 2008, the 19 year old goaltender won the gold medal with Team Canada at the World U18 Championship where he was awarded best goalie of the tournament. He will attend the camp hoping to get a spot on Team Canada for the tournament which will take place in Regina from December 26, 2009 to January 5, 2010.
