Impact's Streak and Season End
The Montreal Impact ended their 2009 season as well as their seven game unbeaten streak with a loss at the hands of the Carolina Railhawks tonight at WakeMed Soccer Park, in Cary, North Carolina.

With a win, the Impact could have cemented their spot in 5th place, where they presently sit while awaiting the result of the Rochester/Charleston game's final tonight as Rochester sits just beneath Montreal by one point in the standings.
While the game was even at the half, the second half not only saw defensive pillar Stefano Pesoli ejected for tackling a Carolina player in the penalty zone, thus putting his team one man short for the rest of the game, but he will now not be able to play in he teams home game of the home and away playoff series set for September 24th.
Please read the Impact's full game recap for all the details.
