Sep 30 Impact Play Peurto Rico Thursday in USL Semifinals

After the Impact defeated the Charleston Battery 4-1 on aggregate goals (2-0 and 2-1), they now will face the Puerto Rico Islanders (3rd) Thursday at Saputo Stadium at 7:30 pm in the first match of the USL First Division semifinal round.

The Impact will be without the immediate services of coach Marc Dos Santos for game 1 as he will be serving an  automatic one-match suspension issued by the league, following his ejection in the last match against Charleston.

While the Impact’s record lifetime against the Islanders is favourable, they have not won against them in their last five regular season games, including the three matchups this season where the Islanders won every game.
