
Impact Defeat Seattle 2-1, Clinch Playoff Spot in USL!

In the 400th regular season game in club history, the Montreal Impact (12-10-5; 41 points) confirmed its spot in the playoffs with a 2-1 win against the Seattle Sounders (10-9-9; 39 points), Wednesday, at Starfire Complex, in Seattle.
Midfielders Tony Donatelli (59th minute) and Antonio Ribeiro (70th minute) scored for the Impact and goalkeeper Andrew Weber registered his second win of the season. The Impact, with a 7-2-1 record in its last 10 regular season games, is now ranked third in the standings and are now guaranteed a dance in the post season ball.
Don't forget that the Impact is also trying to move ahead in the CONCACAF Champions League, group stage as well. Special note: The game against CD Olimpia, scheduled for October 2 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, has been rescheduled for October 1st (10 pm, Eastern time).
